Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in partnership with YuppTV on Wednesday announced that the launch of a single subscription video streaming service named YuppTV Scope. The service will be available as an OTT bundle to broadband and FTTH subscribers as a triple play offering.
According to an official release, YuppTV Scope offers access to premium OTT platforms such as ZEE5, SonyLiv, Voot& YuppTV-aggregator of other live tv channels. It also offers curated experience with personalized recommendations based on viewership patterns. The recommendations are curated by manually as well as using technologies such as AI and ML.
“As a cross-platform service, YuppTV Scope can be accessed from device types including Smart TV, PC, Mobile, Tablet, and streaming media players. Additionally, users can carry out live chats, participate in live polls, and also request content of their choice – all while watching live TV.” Said Sri Vivek Banzal, Director CFA, BSNL Board.
The new service comes months after BSNL and OTT content platform YuppTV signed as an agreement. The two sides entered a triple play partnership for video and broadband technology services for mobile and fixed-line.
