Facebook Redesigns Pages With a More Simplified Layout And No ‘LIKE’ Button

Facebook said that it will roll out the new Pages experience to all Pages in the upcoming months.

Facebook, on Wednesday night, announced that it was rolling out significant improvements to its Pages experience. The changes include an updated design, a dedicated News Feed and actionable insights among other things. Facebook said that it will roll out the new Pages insight to all Pages in the upcoming months.

All things concerned, Facebook has upgraded the whole Pages segment. The company says that the Pages experience has been designed with that the user are able to spot profiles, posts and other significant details without any problem.

The company has also brought its News Feed to Pages. Presently users will have the option to find and join conversations, follow trends, interact with peers and engage with fans using Pages. The dedicated News Feed will also recommend new connections, for example, Public Figure, Pages, Groups and trending contents that a Page or Public Figure cares about. Also, the company said that to make Page conversation are more visible to a wider audience comments from Public Figure will be knock to the top of the comments section. peoples will also have the option to follow Pages directly from comments and suggestions posts.

Notwithstanding these changes, Facebook is additionally presenting Q&A format alongside new Page management features, for example, the ability to assign and manage administrator access permissions based on specific task among others to Pages.

Aside from this, the company has also improved its security features. Facebook said that it has improved its ability to identify action that isn’t permitted on platform including hate speech, violent, sexual or spammy content and impersonation. “ We are proceeding to expand the visibility of a verified badge to make it simpler to recognize posts and comments from authentic Pages and profiles. A verified Page’s comment on another Page’s public post, may seem higher in the comments section and be visible in News Feed,” the company said.

In any case, the biggest and the important change that is coming to Facebook Pages is the removal of the Likes button. This is being done to simplify the manner in which peoples connect with their favorite Pages. “Unlike Likes, Followers of a Page represent the people who can receive updates from Pages, which helps give public figures a stronger indication of their fan base,” the company explained.
