Indian Covid-19 Lockdown updates

The rate of spread of the disease in India is supposed to be brought down. Hence, India has undergone lockdown in two phases.

With the rising cases of Covid-19 in India, unity and strategy is the call of the hour. To fight the invincible disease, India has been in a complete lockdown.

The rate of spread of the disease in India is supposed to be brought down. Hence, India has undergone lockdown in two phases.

The first lockdown of 21 days that was supposed to end on 14th of April was extended by the prime minister of India Narendra Modi till 3rd of May for safety purposes.

This is the longest ever lockdown which any country has taken incharge of. India is lucky to be shut down at an optimum time. Otherwise, it would have resulted in an irreversible nationwide loss.

The current status of of Corona in India is:
Total cases: 16,365
Total Deaths : 521
Total Recovered : 2466

According to the statistics uploaded by the government, about 30% of the Corona cases is that of the Jamaat.

The second phase of lockdown will encounter few of the exemptions that will be applicable from the 28 of April. These exemptions have been given to maintain the supply chain of essential goods and services. The list given below was posted by Ravi Shankar Prasad on Twitter.

These services are:
1) health care services
2) agriculture and horticulture services
3) fishing industry
4) plantation of daily use products.
5) financial sector
6) animal husbandry
7) social sector
8) MNREGA
9) public utilities
10) inter and intra State cargo
11) government offices
12) private vehicles for emergency services
13) construction
14) industries (both government and private )

The government has ordered the police to take strict charges against those who do not stick to the lockdown rules.
