Lockdown 3.0: Ghaziabad and Telangana extends lockdown till 31st May

Telangana with 1085 Covid-19 cases and Ghaziabad with 50 active cases extends lockdown

New Delhi: The Telangana state government on Tuesday extended lockdown till 31st May and imposed a strict curfew between 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM across the state, during this period only essential and emergency services will be allowed

In Ghaziabad also, Section 144 has been imposed till 31st May. As per DM order released on Tuesday considering that Ghaziabad 104 persons tested positive Covid-19 with 2 deaths so far still has 50 active cases but considering the community transmission the precautionary steps has been taken. All the bank staff of Punjab National Bank of Loni, Ghaziabad has been tested positive, a classic example of how community transmission is spread.

Delhi-NCR region has been under locked down with Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon & Noida sealing their borders with Delhi. As several offices in these adjoining cities are opened, commuters are finding it difficult to commute between different cities as no inter-district transport is allowed, only passes issued by central government are allowed.
