Corona is eating up the nation and the world, Maharashtra being on the most miserable state. The rapid increase of Corona positive cases in Maharastra is concerning every Indian.
Maharastra hit the highest number of corona positive cases on this Wednesday. With a total of 1233 cases recorded in a single day on Wednesday, the statistics has taken an ugly turn lately.
With 17,974 cases confirmed in Maharastra, recovery for Maharastra is getting harder everyday. Maharastra’s capital City Mumbai, is the most hit city of India with more than 10,000 cases in just a course of 57 days.
Mumbai being the densely populated as it is, alone accounts to 63.93% of the total Maharastra’s cases and about 19% of the nation’s cases.
In all, 34 out of 36 districts of Maharashtra is suffering and will soon become hotspots of Corona.
Maharastra is working on its health infrastructure everyday. 10,000 tests are being conducted on everyday basis. The authorities are very regular in testing the cases and have tested 1,90,879 samples so far of which which 1,73,838 have been tested negative.
Along with Mumbai, Pune and Thane which are adjacent to Mumbai have been affected as well. Lav Agarwal, an IAS officer in the Ministry of Health and Welfare has reached Mumbai to assess the spread of Corona in Maharashtra.
