The examination authority NTA, National Testing Agency, has reinstated the application
window for JEE Main 2020 registration. Those applicants who were unable to finalize
their applications or wished to submit fresh applications, here’s a glad tiding for you all
where you can apply fresh. The last date of the registration would be on the 24th of May.
Procedure to fill the form
Students may please note that the eligibility and other criteria remain the same.
Interested individuals are expected to fill the online application form on the official
website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The official notice is provided here for quick reference. The
application window to complete and submit the online form would be open till 5:00 pm
on May 24. Applicants can reimburse the fees online up to 11:50 pm on the same date.
Although the dates for the release of admit cards for JEE Main and JEE Advanced are yet
to be announced, the students across the country aspiring for top engineering colleges
have taken the prompt and are on the voyage of preparation for the engineering entrance
examination.
As times are professedly difficult due to the coronavirus disease
(COVID-19)-necessitated lockdown, studies ought not to swear off. In these hard times,
the NTA also launched the National Test Abhyaas app to help students prepare for
JEE-Main and NEET exams.
Application fee and expected examination dates
The application fee is ₹650. For female candidates, the same is ₹325. For Sc, ST, PwD
and transgender category the fee is ₹325.
JEE Main 2020 will be held between July 18 and July 23. Through JEE Main, candidates
will be allowed to seek admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture
programmes in Indian institutes including NITs. JEE Main is also the first step towards JEE Advanced – entrance exam for IITs.
