Pakistan fired along LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri: Army JCO killed

On August 30, a JCO was killed in Pakistani barrage fire on the LoC within the Nowshera sector.

A Junior military officer (JCO) was killed on the road of management (LoC) within the intervening night of Tues and Wednesday at Keri space of the Nowshera sector in Jammu’s Rajouri district.

“A Naib Subedar announce at a forward location in Keri sector sacrificed his life within the line of duty, once West Pakistan resorted to wanton firing from across the LoC,” same a defence official. The Indian Army has retaliated to Pakistani firing, he added. “We are awaiting additional details,” same the official.

On August 30, a JCO was killed in Pakistani barrage fire on the LoC within the Nowshera sector. The martyred JCO is known as Naib Subedar Rajwinder Singh, who belonged to Khadur European tehsil of Punjab’s Amritsar district.

Last weekday, the Border personnel (BSF) had detected a trans-border tunnel, that originated from West Pakistan and went one hundred fifty metres into the Samba sector of the union territory (UT) of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K).
