The Kerala Story’ Crew Member Provided Security After Threat: Mumbai Cops

According to police, Sudipto Sen, director of the film, informed police that one of the crew members received a message from an unknown number.

Mumbai: A team individual from the film ‘The Kerala Story’ got a compromising message from an obscure number, as per Mumbai Police.

As indicated by police, Sudipto Sen, head of the film, educated police that one of the team individuals got a message from an obscure number.

The message compromised the said individual not to venture out alone from home and that they didn’t do something to be thankful for by showing the story, police said.

Police gave security to the team part however a FIR has not been enrolled as they are yet to get a composed protest.

The Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal prohibited the film ‘The Kerala Story’, referring to the “upkeep of harmony” and to keep away from episodes of “contempt and savagery” in the state on May 8.

West Bengal turned into the principal state to boycott the film. ‘The Kerala Story’ portrays the trial of three ladies who are dealt to ISIS camps subsequent to being switched over completely to Islam through marriage.

Responding to the boycott, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the maker of the film, said they will seek legitimate choices against the choice.

“On the off chance that state government will not stand by listening to us, we will investigate legitimate roads. In any case, anything course we take will be founded on legitimate guidance,” Mr Shah told ANI.
